HI Guys,
Can anyone tell me if the front faring for an FZ1 (2006 on) will fit an FZS 1000?
I need to replace the fairing on my FZS 1000.
any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Stu

Of the top of my head I don't think it will fit and all the mounting points are different, or more crucially the sub-frame on the 2006 is totally different.
But one fairing that will fit is the front fairing of a fox-eye Fazer 600 -
Things that you can re-use from the Fazer 1000
- Mirrors.
- Headlight.
- Rear inner fairing brackets.
Things you will need from the fazer 600
- Subframe - looking at the parts link below, the sub frame looks the same as the one on the fazer 1000, so you could reuse that one.
- Screen.
- Front inner fairing bracket - see the part 18 on the link below.
- Fairing inner panels - The panels are basically the same, but the ones on the 600 have protrusion (see part 11) on the following parts diagram.
