Title: Transit of Venus - Wed AM (v. early!)

for anyone with an astronomical interest, the last transit of venus across the sun for our lifetime (unless someone manages to figure out how to make us live a lot longer!) will occur on wednesday morning
this is the last transit until 2117!
unfortunately the transit starts before sunrise here in the uk so we will (weather permitting) only get to see about the last 40 mins of it.
if you do go out for a look, please be careful !
looking directly at the sun can cause instant blindness !

last transit i had?....wouldnt fkn start!!!....so sold the bstd!!! :lol

Prefer transits of the moon anyway, was lucky enough to see the Cornish one in 1999.
