Title: Advice please!
Post by: Dave48 on 04 June 2012, 09:55:40 am
On removing bellypan on my FZS 1000 I discovered radial cracks in the plastic surrounding the rear mounting holes. :'(  Front ones have rubber inserts with steel bush so these ok. Rear ones have no anti-vibration bushes/collars-is this correct? Any recommendations re "plastic welding/repair?

The hugger on my bike had the rear mounting hole wear a way, I repaired it by Evo Sticking a patch of plastic on the inside out of sight. It has held, if this is any help.
