This charger is supposed to do lots of things according to Oxford. I had a transformer fail and effectively scrapping the charger and while the engineer was looking at it he said, I hope you didn't pay much for this. More effort goes into lighting the LEDs up than actually charging the battery, it is a basic cheap charger in a fancy box. Not impressed. Worked well for a while but the peace of mind it offers is no longer there. Cheating, lying, advertising that just isn't true.

How about an Optimate? It seems to do a good job and plenty of people on here use one.

Possibly much the same but not been inside one to know. I think the product is okay, just the claims are way off. It's like someone saying the lastest 600 Fazer is better than the 98 model, just not true. :D

Well it's better than a 98 model, just not as good as an 03 model :D

ah, I have an 03 fairing on my 98 so get the best of both  :)  shame the paint is so awful
