Title: Cold starting

Is it normal to have to give a tiny bit of throttle when starting from cold? She starts no problem when warm but needs just a blip of throttle to get it working by itself when cold.

its a carbed bike its perfectly normal :)

I nearly always hold my revs up for about 10 seconds or so, hold it at 1,500 RPM then as it warms up it picks up the revs by itself and then I know its ready to go ^^ Meanwhile I pull the clutch in and out a couple of times so that the gears don't clunk so heavily - doing this has made the change down to 1st, just after starting, so much smoother.
