Title: Genuine Arai Visors
Post by: Phil TK on 06 May 2012, 12:44:17 pm
I'm looking to get a couple of new visors for my Arai but want to avoid fake ones (had a couple of those  £18 and they last about 2 months) and also being tight I want to pay minimum for the genuine article.
Does anyone know of a good supplier at the right price?. Am also looking for an amber one but these all seem to be about £40+ for some reason

I know not genuine but have you tried a Bob Heath visor? I have one on my AGV helmet just now, was £27 including postage.

If not then i agree with Steeee66 http://www.racevisors.co.uk (http://www.racevisors.co.uk)

Phil,

I have a couple of brand new ARAI Type L visors, one Dark Tint and one Clear both pinlock ready, which I am sure I left at my dads house in Hutton nr Brentwood.

I can get him to find them if you are interested, They are brand new and still in plastic cover, they cost 44.99 each so how does 60 quid  the pair collected sound?

That sounds like a bargain to me. My lid is an Astro R so it takes the L type too. Hutton is not far from me -about 15 miles.
Let me know by pm if your dad finds them and I'll look to pick them up next weekend or evening by arrangement if that's ok.
  Good this forum, innit.

I have an Astro R also, but I dont use it any more since I bought a Reevu (the one with the rear view mirror) from Nooj on here. My dad just has to find the in the loft, I will PM you when he has found them and sort it from there.
