hi guys
best way to clean them
and how small is the hole that goes through them, bit of wire brush be small enough
cheers
-
I recently did this with mine. I used carb cleaner, a compressor to blow air through the jet, and a bit of wire from a brass wire brush. The jets are made from brass, so any stronger metals (e.g. steel) might damage the them.

thank for the response
have tried all that, soaked in carb cleaner over nite.must be really badly blocked
can you see daylight through yours when clean
think i might have to renew mine.been in there 20 years
regards

Unless they're visibly damaged, or corroded you should be fine. You can just about see daylight through them when they're clear. A bit of brass wire should do the trick.

gave up trying to clear them, must be really badly corroded inside
got some genuine jets, from a company called motocarb
will fit and hopefully the problem is sorted

Remember that one of the three in each carb is actually a blank and is blocked.
