Title: loose side stand

Should the side stand have a wavy washer to take up free play?  mine seems to have a lot of movement although bolt is tight

Your profile says you have an FZ6, but this is posted in Fazer 1000/ FZ1.

Which model are you asking about?

I've got a Gen 1 and the side stand is the same as yours. Feels a bit floppy but works fine and stays closed when not in use. It has been used thousands of time though!!
