Hi Peeps.
Anyone know the delivery fuel pressure from the factory "Clickety Clackety" fuel pump in psi?
I'm considering junking the monstrosity for a more modern quiet rotary pump, unsure at this point if it's a good idea or not, based on the new rotary pump supplying constant delivery pressure albeit low psi, it may put undue pressure on the float bowl seal ...
Any thoughts / comments welcome? :thumbup

Someone will correct me if wrong, but afaik it wont be high at all as its only designed to overcome gravity afaik.

2.9psi?
Thought it would around 3psi ish.

Should only be about 3psi or thereabouts. Enough to counteract gravity & keep the carbs full. Not like the 40-odd psi required for fuel injection systems...

I wanted to make room under the side panel of my Gen 1 Fazer 1000, and replaced the original fuel pump with one from a Fazer 600, which is small enough to fit above and just ahead of the carbs if you've taken off the AIS. The bike's never suffered from fuel starvation since the swap, even with the engine held at high revs for extended periods :) .
