Title: Pilot Screw adjuster
Post by: NitramA on 27 August 2020, 07:05:37 pm
Was thinking of having a fiddle with the pilot airscrew adjusters.
Can anyone recommend a tool to do this with the carbs in situ?

I saw the Sealey tool on Amazon but the reviews indicated that the end was too big to fit on their particular bikes.

If it fits the Fazer then that’s the one I’ll get.
Thanks for the response.

I believe that is the genuine Morgan Carbtune kit. Not cheap, but is the business.

Well knowing me, I got it when it was on sale or some such.

Does look the biz and £47 doesn’t seem too bad for something that actually works  :D
Might have to raid the piggy bank.

I think the sealy one is inferior because just uses a coil/cable mechanisim, unlike the morgan above which has a shaft & worm drive. This i imagine has less back-lash so is more accurate etc.
