The rebuild on the FZ1 is nearly finished, i tried to start it yestersay but it wown't start. The pump primes but the nothing, not even trying to turn over. When i try and start it, the engine light comes on, Any ideas. Loose wire fuses side stand?

Have you looked at the diagnostic menu to see if its shows any error codes? Thats usually a good indicator of any problems
Also check the obvious things, kill switch, battery or for instance I thought mine was knackered the other week when it was doing the same as yours, but turned out I'd left it in gear when I turned it off which then stops the starter kicking in 😳😳 was both embarrassed and relieved at the same time haha

Got it going, loose wire under the seat, I just disconnected and reconnected everything and ...BOOOM ...shes firing on all 4. Still waiting on handle bars, front left indicator and crash bobbins and shes finished. Thanks lads.

Ah that sound like corrosion on one or more of the pins then, if you can it would be a good idea to get inand clean them if you can, otherwise liberly spray WD40 into both parts of the connector and unplug-plug a few times. Got a pic of the connector btw, Im curious to see which one it is...

I'll have a look but it wownt start now, j think it's the fuel pump relay. The connectors looked ok on the startef relay.
