Title: Major mod query: FZ1-N to FZ1S front fairing conversion

So someone suggested this to me and I was like, as I have done an front-fairing conversion on an FZS600 in the past Im thinking the N-to-S should also be possible.
So parts off the top of my head -
The clocks look identical (FZ1-S -  (https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/6482956/fz1-sa-fazer-5d0f-2012-040-a/meter)2D18350050 (https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/6482956/fz1-sa-fazer-5d0f-2012-040-a/meter), FZ1-N -  (https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/6481619/fz1-na-22cf-2012-060-a/meter)22C-83500-10 (https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/6481619/fz1-na-22cf-2012-060-a/meter)), so I will assume can be retained and mounted to the FZ1-S sub-frame with the relevant hardware.

I thought about this a while ago but after looking into it I quickly realised it would have made more sense to just sell my N and buy an S haha

Only reason I am looking at this at all, is due to the scarceness of the FZ1-S compared to the FZ1-N. And its even worse when like me you want an all black bike.

Really?? I tend to find the opposite, hardly ever see a naked ones about but quite a few faired ones up for sale locally.
Suppose it depends where you are based, I've just done a quick search on gumtree and there are mainly faired ones for sale, 2 Black ones too but quite high mileage.

Bit if that is the case then would it not make more sense to buy a colour FZ1S and spray it black rather than to try and add fairing to an N?

I like the look of the blue and white ones.
I take it FZ1S is the half faired FZ1 Fazer.
Is FZ1S the best e-bay search term?

It seems to vary, which is half the problem.
