Not something I'd ever heard of and certainly not something I'd consider but an interesting video none the less

Ah, yes, the ridiculous idea of sticking a car tyre on the back of a motorcycle because bike tyres are so expensive...  :rolleyes
The first few seconds of the video clip show *exactly* what is wrong with the idea as the bike tries to corner in the wet and you can *see* just how little rubber (or tread pattern to disperse the water) is in contact with the road.

Bike tyres have a rounded profile and dual compounds for a reason...  :wall
