okay so today coming home i noticed a new sound.... it sounds like those old war movies of the planes flying over head loud rumble thats some kind of sypatheitc virbation sounds/feels like the tank makes the sound alot louder didnt have any change in responce or anything just a loud very distant vibrational rumble
any thoughts i am going to go over everthing tomorow any ways but suggestions would be great
it only happens at about 4k stable rpm in most gears and neutral no change in power timing (etc)

You've got me there, if you're saying your bike suddenly sounds like a Lancaster bomber or a Spitfire then you might wanna get a mechanic to take a look/listen a bit sharpish though.

its strange only happens at exactly 4 thousand rpm low deep rumbling sound its weird like i said no change in power nothing just a wierd tone at 4k

Have you had anything apart recently, like the tank or rear wheel off at all?
Could be a resonance thing at particular revs, but never heard anything described like that at all before?

Don't forget those all famous vibrating front indicators attached to the fairing!.(http://foc-u.co.uk/Smileys/efocicon/smile.gif)

This is like the squawk thread. You've not given us enough info to get an accurate answer. It could be anything. If my bike was rumbling like an old plane and I had no idea where it was coming from I'd turn the engine off and push it to a mechanic in case it blew up

loose or missing front tank bolt ?
