Title: Base Carb Settings For Air/Fuel Mixture

Hi,
Got a set of second hand carbs that I have stripped and had them ultrasonic cleaned.
I'm in the process of rebuilding them, can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction, I need info for the base settings for the mixture screws?
I think I've seen somewhere that 2.5 turns out for a standard bike with standard jets but I cant find where I saw it!

yeh set mine to two turns out found out it wasnt enough its different with each bike but is say 2.1/4 to 2.1/2 is perfect

Ok cheers guys, might set them to 2 and see how it goes. Can't check my old carbs as all the mixture screws have been snapped off by some doofus.
