Title: R1 Exhaust cans

I'm sure it's been asked before, but is it easy/possible to fit an R1 end can directly  to an fzs1000 -?
If so, what year R1 is best to go for, and do you have to do any further mods - ( carbs etc ?) - or is it just a straight bolt on job?

AFAIK the 98-01 can bolts straight on. Doubtless someone will correct that.

the 4xv-5jj can will fit the downpipes ok, but not the footrest bracket, the angle of dangle is all wrong.
i have a very nice low mileage R1 link pipe if anyone is interested!
