Title: Puncture Kit - This Any Good ?
Post by: Frosties on 08 November 2018, 12:37:42 pm
Hi fellas,

Finally decided to buy a new kit to replace my old mushroom type kit.

Seen this one below but have heard a lot on here talk about the Crafty Plugger kit which it seems i can only find the "strings" not the kit with tools.

So is the one below any good or if you can post up a link for the "Crafty Plugger KIT" it would be appreciated.

All advice appreciated in advance,

Here you go

The tool (a simple hole maker and puller) is inside the tube. I've got one, but (fortunately) not had to use it yet.

I have used the crafty plugger on a couple of occasions and can vouch for its effectiveness. The last time, the damage caused by the puncture was so severe the tyre was condemned, but the roadside repair I did was meanwhile good enough to get me home, and then to the tyre place next day. Which suggests that the crafty plugger is good kit.
