The FZ1 sounded a bit rough when I turned her over this morning. Blipped the throttle and she died. Left it for a minute, started her up. Let her run for a minute, and more smoke than usual came out of the exhaust. Left her for a few minutes and tried again. Same thing. Bike doesn't sound rough. Don't smell any burning. But it suggests to me she's suddenly started burning oil?!!! Bike had been running fine up until then.

And it was also idling higher -- around 1500 and a bit beyond.

Has it been off the road for a little while or had little use? Could just be that it needs the cobwebs blown away with a decent ride?
