Did you contact WeMoto about it, they can very good about replacing stuff that may be faulty.

Mick has a used one for sale here http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,24571.0.html (http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,24571.0.html)
I would sooner a used OEM than a new snide. Just my thoughts.

Mine snapped when I was rear ended and the exhaust was shunted forward. I replaced the inners with the venhill rebuild kit, about £10. Did 30 k or so before selling it and are still on now so they are decent.

I would rather have new cables. They don’t last forever and pattern parts can be as good as .

New cables arrived form brooks barn motorcycle, different design. Exhaust end cables go right through nipples. Other end look pressed on.
