Title: Naked Fazers!!
Post by: chunk166 on 25 June 2018, 11:25:52 am
Hi. For you that have gone naked on your bikes, is it possible for you to post pics on this thread as to what your bikes look like! I am really having a problem in what lights i want to put on my bike as i can't afford a new fairing & most that i have seen on Ebay are either crap or overpriced!!
 :( :(

I'd been thinking of going the naked route too. The problem I had with google images was that after the first few a lot of them weren't even fazers; still useful for headlight and style ideas, but not so much when it comes to remounting clocks etc.

To mount the clocks i was going to use headlight brackets with a small 90 degree/elbow bracket. Or use the existing fairing stay but modify it some how to take twin lights!!!   :rolleyes :rolleyes :rolleyes

This is a common question. You might want to search for similar threads that had alot of responses. ;)

You could possibly cut down the original front Fairing cage, so there's just enough left to mount your original Clocks, plus adapt for a new Headlight.

There's SO MANY aftermarket motorcycle headlights on ebay / amazon etc. You'd usually pickup some generic Fork clamps to hold the Headlight in place, one each side (for a side mounted headlight).
Aftermarket Speedo's too, usually come with a 'universal' clamp to attach to your Handlebar. So no problem there either. :)

I have picked up a double headlight kit from Germany, not cheep, but it is well made and comes with a mounting bracket for the clocks and all the fittings.

That specific item is called dominator headlights with the characteristic bug eye style.
You will find a lot of variations if you search the above phrase in ebay, amazon etc.

Edit: Didn't see at first, that specific Kit above includes extra brackets to mount original FZS600 Speedo. Neat touch if you wanted to retain the bulky 1990's Analog dials. :)

A lot of the Dominator headlight kits are just the 2 light units with fork mounting brackets. Universal fit.
