Title: dilemma

got a new clutch to fit full basket plate the lot but want to use the bike tomorrow do it change it before run or wait and order a gasket reason im changing is clutch basket rattle and sticky clutch plates

Do the clutch after the run. If you have any problems you won't be riding tomorrow...

It's not a difficult job... Provided you have the right tools. There's a big nut to undo in the centre if you're replacing the whole basket (something like a 26 or 32mm?) and you'll need a tool to hold the basket while you undo it. If you have those it's no dramas.
