Title: Bike work bench Now sold
Post by: steve 10562cc on 24 February 2018, 07:46:52 pm

Bike work bench for sale built from plans. Constructed from 50mm box section & 50mm angle iron uses 4x4 trolley jack to raise and lower which is with it.  has a 19mm plywood work/platform on. Platform size  2400mm x 800mm, 4 platform working heights 190mm, 520mm, 660mm 760mm. My son did the welding which he does at work as part of his job. It's primed but needs a coat of paint. Built about 6 years ago to big for my garage at house just moved to. £75. It's pretty heavy so you will need trailer or van. Rebuilt XJR1300 and FJ1200 on it just to give you some idea of size.  Sorry no photos I can't work out how to post any (useless on computers)

Now gone to a good home

I already have one so just a post to say for anybody with the room, these make an excellent addition to the man cave and don’t half save the back when servicing the bike. Also can be used for your mower when that needs TLC 😀

Steve. Since it will need collecting it might be as well to give an approximate location. Sounds a bargain for anyone with the space for it.
I second what Trebus says. I wouldn't like to be without mine.
Instructions for posting photo's used to be in the “help” section at top of page, but it has all changed and is no longer there.  :(

Thanks the bike had been dropped as the previous owner was parking it right hand side fairing tank and all plastic damaged, don't know why but he didn't repair it just sold through a mate of mine who has a bike shop got it for a gift price.  £500 of parts and a fair bit of elbow grease,  baglux tank cover and bag till the tanks repaired and resprayed . Checked frame for cracks as they have been know to crack after being dropped but it's sound. It's an 08 with 10700miles and not recorded as accident damaged.

Hi Steve - I'm interested in this and live in Rugby, so hopefully not too far away.

I'll send you a pm with my contact details - would like to come and have a look and maybe take it away 😀.
