Post by: Dinger1962 on 21 November 2017, 07:40:34 pm
Nuther daft question as i dont have my fzs600 anymore to compare --recently aquired a yzf600 tcat forks arent great so looking to change --do the fzs600 forks fit the tcat as cat ones are few and far between thanks--

dont know exactly but from looking at info in the haynes manual the looks like they are totally different
the spring free length is a good 100mm longer which doesnt necceserily translate over to actuall length
but it does suggest yzf forks are longer which is more likely as doesnt the fzs have clip ons above the top yoke

seen a post that a guy fitted the thundercat front end on a fazer but not entirely sure of what was involved he was using it for  track  days and road said it was a good improvement . personally i would be looking to  fit a better front end like an r6 etc
