Hi,
Want to do a USD fork Swap on my FZS600, but cant seem to find a easy swap..?
I have checked www.allballbearings.com (http://www.allballbearings.com), but it only shows USD swap matches for the 02 YZF600R Thundercat, which might be similar or even the same as the FZS since they share Haynes Manual??
I am also looking for a single side svingarm swap.
I appreciate all the help I can get and i really hope for a simple and easy solution.

There is no 'easy' swap - it'll have to be the complete front-end off another bike.
A couple of people have successfully fitted early R1 or YZF750 front-ends to a FZS600.
From memory, the 600's steering stem is (surprisingly) the same diameter and dimensions as the FZS1000, and plenty of people with the 1000 have done the R1 USD front-end swap. So your best bet is to find someone selling a complete modded R1 front-end (they come up rarely on this forum), or just D.I.Y.

Back end. Sorry, can't help. Someone on here started converting a VFR750 swingarm for the Fazer 600 but the project stalled (no idea whether it wasn't possible or he just lost interest).

Hi Terje
Well Ive seen a few streetfighter type mods that frankly look terrible, trying to figure out why this one looks so damn good ? Could you post up a couple more pics of the front end ? And give us some details of the instruments & headlight please ?
thanks

Don't know if it's any help but I've got ZXR750 Usd's on mine with R6 wheels front and back (R6 swingarm too). I don't know what mods were done as they were fitted when I bought the bike.
Another option would be some slab yokes made to suit whatever you want to fit.

The fact that you're looking to replace RWU forks with USD should tell you that it isn't going to be particularly easy. Look up Ruby Racing on here. He fitted the front end off a KTM Super Duke, and s/arm off, I think, an FZR1000. You'll see from his thread what kind of commitment you'd be looking at.
