Title: digital display and back light goes on and off

anyone know the colour of the wire that feeds the digital display on a 2007 FZ1? mines got a break in it and the display works only when it feels like it!!! would really appreciate some help with this..... :'( :'(

Fairly sure it is a Red/white from the taillight fuse
