anyone done a r1 rear caliper conversion ??

Yes, someone on the forum has tried it. Although he eventually got it working, sadly it's not a direct fit otherwise we'd all have them & there'd be none on ebay.
The only bluespots that do fit the standard FZS600 rear hanger (even then with a bit of filing) are from the 2001-05 FZS1000 and some XJR1300 years.
After that, other alternative rear calipers need a different rear hanger - my own bike has a TRX850 hanger mated to a thunderace rear caliper.

i bought it from a guy it has the hanger aswell its an r1 hanger mated to a fazer 600 hanger it was on the bike and working so ii know its ok fitment wise just curious to see if anyone else had done it
