upon replacing clutch springs today I was torqueing the spring bolts up and one of them bloody sheared :'(
So my only option now is to replace the inner basket , which luckily I have in my shed :) .
However I don't have a removal/ locking tool does anyone have any way of safely removing the inner basket without the tool.
Apart from this aggro what's really frustrating is , I took it off sorn and taxed it , insured it and fitted new T30 Bridgestones to it , got oil and filter to do after and now I can't bloody ride it :'( :'(
Please help.

I had the same problem a few years ago and made up a holder tool from a strip of alloy.

I guess you'd only need to fit 5 of the screws. :rollin

Alternatively you could use Deefer's suggestion of an impact gun.

Thanks Fazerider.
The day goes from bad to worse, I go out to my shed to remove said part from spare engine only to find that similar has happened to that ( not done by me thankfully )one but it's sheared further down so the bolt was in about 3 threads and if used the bolt would come out under pressure me thinks so lots of clutch baskets for the scrap bin :'( .
On to flea bay now for another one, story of my life lately fix one problem and create another :wall
