Hey I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me what these threaded holes are for? Been racking my brain but the only thing i can think of is for a bellypan?
-
i have a bellypan on mine but it doesn`t use those holes for the brackets, perhaps they are for support brackets for fairing lowers that give an FZ1s a full fairing look, engine is same in both bikes so holes would be there in both models.

Here is a picture of mine from last year and it doesn't have either of those holes. It's not very clear I know but I think the front one may be an engine support and the rear could be the centre stand. Not sure though.

Actually grayo I think you've solved the one closest to the gear lever as your center stand seems to be screwed into it 🤔🤔
I don't have a centre stand on mine with it being the Naked version.

Looked at mine this afternoon and as Grayo says back one is definitely for centrestand bracket. Front one on mine is not threaded, just a through hole.

Yeah same here. I did wonder that since its an old r1 engine that it might have been something from that?
