does anybody know if 2004 bar ends for fazer 600 with fit 2003 model
-
different part number but both are held on with a bolt so chances are the will prolly fit
-
There isn't a 2004 model?
'98 - '03
-
what is the fuel injection model called then ??
-
Well as I understand the 2002 and 2003 bikes were the same and that's when they stopped making them, although some were still sold in 2004 when the bike was discontinued.
The successor I guess was the fZ6.
I have no idea what bar ends fit what, other than assuming they would all be interchangeable on all FZS600's 98-03, as the handle bar design never changed.

There's a plentiful amount of bellends down my pub right now, they need hanging somewhere!
-
the fz6 is still a fazer and with it being a different model that would be why the poster is asking !!!! come on keep up !!!!
-
keep up? Foc me! Do you want to re-read your answer?...

I can only aspire to keep up with you. :lol :lol :lol
Apparently I'm a troll.

The FZS600 stopped production in 2003, and yes the FZ6 is the fuel injected version started in 2004.
But even though they are classed as Fazers they are different bikes, with many very different parts.
I'm sure there are bits and bobs that are exactly the same, but as this is the FZS600 section frequented mainly by people who own FZS600's then in fairness there's no real reason for us to know the answer to that question, unless you've owned both bikes, but even then without literally checking both bars you wouldn't wanna hazard a guess anyway.
Judging by photo's of bar ends per bike on Ebay though, they actually look very different, so i'm gonna guess no, they aren't compatible.

In any event, when fitting DO NOT attempt to torque them up to 500NM ;)
-
wonder who would do that ???
-
I'd probably do that.
