Title: Heated grips
Post by: MMCMME on 26 December 2016, 03:27:17 pm
Just ordered myself a set of heated grips, due to arrive in a couple of days and never had any before.

Where is best to wire the positive? Ideally would like to avoid connecting directly to battery to save killing it when I forget to switch them off.

Any FZ6'ers wired grips in easily and successfully?

Cheers!

Ah, don't know about them, so I'll leave others to advise.
The Oxford ones have an auto cut-out so you can wire straight to the battery and not worry about leaving them on.

I could probably wire them directly to the battery and never forget to switch them off but its just for peace of mind really.

Looking into a relay tapped into main bean as an easy option up to now.

Cheers.
