Hi guys
Was wondering if anyone could help me with my small problem. Basically every so often I'll be going to set off from a red light, or roundabout etc in 1st gear and as I set off the clutch lever seems to be very sticky as I release it, it's almost jumpy as if it's moving, then stops, then moves a little bit more, then stops and then reaches it's normal position, I don't know if this is a problem with the actually clutch or the lever itself as it doesn't seem to do it in an other gear, just 1st, and it doesn't do it all the time, literally just every so often.
Sorry for my poor description :lol hope someone can help
Thanks

I would pull the cable off and check its not damaged or about to break first. Sounds like it might need lubricating or is frayed and will need replacing.

Sounds like lever and cable have been ignored for some time. Take off the clutch lever and grease the pivot and pour some oil down the cable between the inner and outer. If that doesn't make any difference then take off sprocket cover to clean and grease the mechanism.

Thanks guys.
I think I will just buy a new cable and lever as its not an expensive job and then change them over and regrease everything
