I have an HTC sensation running android. It came with google navigation but this needed a constant connection so was no good in bad signal areas.

I bought  copilot, it downloads on to the phone so no internet connection needed, also has multiple destination route so I use it for work. if you stick all your destinations in it will even give you a best route option. You can play with the speed limits and road priorities to get more accurate destination times.

Also has alternate route options and a drag route option. Pretty good good really, gives the odd daft route so like any satnag it's always better to check the route before setting off.

I got Sony X8 and the Girlfriends got Arc S.
I just put multiple destinations in on google maps, then call it up on nav.
The Wise pilot that came on the fone is crap and the google maps work better for me.

I've got Copilot as well,  which is good at multiple nav points.  but the Maps aren't always updated that quickly on it.  I've just tried Freenav,  which is free as the name suggests, and the maps are more up to date than copilot.  Seems a decent app.

Do any of the phone sat-nav apps work over a bluetooth headset?
