Deep purplish blue metallic cocktail   OR   Galaxy blue pearl / dark purplish blue metallic ??

With "YAMAHA" on the fuel tank it must be a 2001 or 2002, thus it's DPBMC.

Galaxy Blue came out in 2004. And those have a black frame and a pitchfork logo on the tank.

i bow to you vast colour / model knowledge sascha many thanks thought it was DPBMC just wanted confirmation before i order paint . Don,t suppose you or  anybody reading know anywhere reasonable i could buy the paint could you ?? looking at  RS paints they seem a bit steep on price

It's not galaxy blue. My bike is galaxy blue and it's alot darker.

I have a recollection that the paint code is printed on a sticker that's stuck to the frame somewhere under the seat. You might get more luck with your enquire if you post in the 1000 section.

Defo DPBMC same as mine :)
Got a can from Autopaint in Farnworth near Bolton a few years ago for my side panels, perfect match about a tenner.
