as above do you guys with this filter use the pipercross cleaning additive c9003 or is there an alternative?
-
Blimey,is it dirty already?.
-
yer filthy and looks abit burnt from blow-backs Ive had
-
Blow backs, you can handle, it's the follow throughs that get messy.

if its foam, just get the correct cleaning +re-oiling kit for around £15.i had trouble with a pipercross foam filter albeit on a ducati, when they were dry the would cause the bike to miss fire over 70mph,once cleaned and oiled they worked perfectly.in fact i prefer them to k&n filters. just far simpler and do just a good as job

I think I was using the choke to much which caused the filter to get wet I think. I've ordered the cleaning now so hopefully will sort it.
