Title: My second Fazer 1000
Post by: Timbo on 08 July 2016, 09:16:15 am
Having acquired my second Fazer 1000 from Mike B earlier in the year, I am amazed in the difference in handling over the stock bike.

The back has been jacked up 15mm with a Hagon re-sprung standard shock and the rate of turn is fabulous.  :D

I thrashed it into work today on dry roads, I am still grinning :D  nay laughing to my self quietly in the corner of the office. Wot a hoot :D

If nothing else push the forks up through the yoke at least 10mm(?)

I've one of Luke's R6 shocks to fit this weekend so it will be interesting to see how much more improvement that makes.

But if your bike is still setup standard DO something about it. You won't regret it  :D

Have fun

Make sure you use the dog bones that come with that shock though.

Same here matey...I put a Maxton RT10 on my Fazer and I was absolutely blown away by the difference. I am gonna get Richard at Maxton to sort out my forks over the winter, cant imagine what it will be like then. Tell you what though it really shows up the shortcomings of the OE item.
