Title: Gen 1 paint code

Anyone know how to find paint code? There is a sticker on the frame near the front but does not mention colour code. Another sticker under the seat but nothing on it either. It's a 2004 sort of mid blue?

The colour code is on one of those stickers you found on the frame under the seat. 

Yours is a US import in the original Yamaha blue for the Fazer which is called Deep Purplish Blue Metallic Cocktail.

I think you'll find that the A, taken together with the model code 5LV etc, will tell a Yamaha dealer the colour code.  This will be DPBMC as has been already mentioned.

Thanks again all. I've bought some fairing lowers and the painter wanted a code so hopefully he will be able to get it from your info

Nice colour, unusual with a black engine/swingarm. Still think Lava Red rocks though.

I always thought 2003 on should be,  Galaxy Blue – DPBML  (1c21-080) (5LVF-080)

True of UK and Euro models but that's a US import, hence the black engine and FZ1 on the fairing. :)

Ah didn't notice the fairing decal  :o
