Hi I'm brand new to biking and have a 1999 fazer 600 and I'm a bit confused.... its a fuel sensor question and have read the other threads on here about it but mine is a little different to theirs. My gauge fuel gage doesn't work at all and when I took a look at my sensor (I'm not very technically minded) I noticed my sensor and the plug on the end only has 2 wires on it and from what I've read it should have 3 or 4? Has a previous owner tried to fix it and put the wrong sensor on the bike or am I missing something? By the way the socket on the bike that the plug goes into has 3 prongs in it and when mine is plugged in it only connects to 1 of them so the second wire doesn't even do anything!
I hope someone out there can shed some light on the subject for me,
