Post by: john 087 on 04 May 2016, 02:28:46 pm
Hi all, my 98 fazer left me down it just cut out going along the road, all lights working but nothing happens when i push the stater button, as i was nearly home i tried to bumb start it but it wouldnt go,so i pushed it home. i sprayed some wd 40 into ign switch and a few minutes later it starts and running fine again. Was wondering is it much of a job to change the ign switch.
Thanks for any help on this.

Remove the top yoke and drill out the security bolts. M8 x#5 cap heads is cheap option to replace them
