Guys,
I have a question about my new rear tire.
I got a good deal on a Michelin Power 2CT tire.
It is a bit of a sporty tire but at the price I couldn't let it go. It's a 160/60-17 tire so it should be the right one for my 1998 box-eye.
However the guy who fitted it, he had a hard time inflating the tire and getting it to settle on the rim.
Now when you look at the tire it has only a slight overhang over the rim.
The old Pilot road tire which came off had much to more overhang.
It looks like the tire is narrower, but if I messeaure it the width is the same.
What's the deal here.....is it just me or is there a construction difference or something like that?
I'll add some pictures later, maybe someone with the same rear tire might take the effort and make some photos? So I can compare?
Thanks.

Did the fitter clean off any previous glue/residue from the last tyre?
