Post by: joebloggs on 29 April 2016, 12:09:47 am
Is there a specific section for recommending garages, companies etc

Good idea :thumbup
But it'd probably need to be split up into different areas with sub-sections?

Who's best to pm to ask for this to be added?

Any of the moderators I guess or you could put it into the suggestions/ideas thread on the main page?

You might want to look here first though

If it's a feature you want added then best bet is to put a post in the suggestions/ideas thread as Colin has said above.

On the surface it seems like a lot of work to get a worthwhile database built up for not a lot of benefit as in sure most of us already have garages we go to and trust with our bikes.

A wee thread suggesting someone never hurts though :)

I wasn't thinking of garages tbh, as you say most would already have somewhere local to have their bike serviced, I was thinking along the lines of engineering shops that take on small jobs, maybe even members themselves can help but as I've found it's difficult to find someone as even if they can help it only works if they read your post.

Having a list would take some of the hassle out of searching.
