Title: Two connectors going nowhere?

I did some work on the bike today and I noticed two connectors under the seat to the rear on the left side.
Both of these connectors had a plug in them with just a black wire looped in it from one terminal to the other.
I can't find anything in the forum about it, although it must have been asked before.
Can anyone tell me what they are for?

Alarm or and ignition disable, think they were either fitted in certain markets or were factory option

Fitted as standard for Yamaha alarm/immobilizer system.(http://foc-u.co.uk/Smileys/efocicon/smile.gif)

Had no clue that were options for the Fazer.
But that explains the connectors.
