Hey all,
After having a fully faired thundercat, im noticing quite a bit of noise from the front wheel, like a constant dry rubbing which gets louder the faster i go. Now i appreciate road noise will travel through more and i do notice a change in loudness on different surfaces, but its still there. I have michellin road pilots on (ive always had angel ST on.my other bikes) so is it a tyre issue and the fact a more open bike or am i missing something more sinister like bearings??
Brohugs in advance lol

Have you checked your brakes? Is the front wheel moving freely?
-
Do you have an extended mudguard, they can cause noise?
-
Had a lot of tyre makes on mine and currently have PR4's fitted with no extra noise. With Val at the moment on possible brakes rubbing.

i Have Michelin RP3 on mine, front is quite noisy, always has been.

The speedo drive on my Fazer squeals if it is dry. I've found a thin smear of grease stops this.

Sod a thin smear, you wanna pack it out with grease.

Try getting front where off floor, and try and spin it quickly, and if you have the longest screw driver you own, put the tip of it onto brakes, or bearing area, and put your ear to handle, pressing it against it. You might hear the noise a lot more easily.you can buy stethoscopes esp for this, and they do work. Just a idea. I've tried with my car, and found problems out this way.
