Title: Paint recommendation for black engine finish.

Post by: robbo on 25 February 2016, 04:04:17 pm: On the RS website it says that no "basecoat" is required, however when I emailed them to check if that's correct, their reply was that an etching primer is necessary, so a bit confused at the moment. Anyone had any experience in using the RS products for minor repairs on the black engine.
