Hi was just wondering if there are any lady Foccer riders out there who would like to meet up for a ride out April/May time ?? Past my test last year and would love to go on a ride out where I'm not chasing Phils tail lol !! He's a born again teenager whoes discovered his biking spirit (he just forgets he's 30 year older lol) I'm Still getting to grips with cornering - did manage to tour Ireland last year so cant be that bad (just before you guys get in some sarcastic replies).. anyway would love to hear even if you dont live close could meet in the middle somewhere..

few years ago did a lovely ladies ride out with the cambs advanced riders - while the men stayed behind and organised a BBQ - very civilised.
might be worth saying where abouts you are

i seem to remember a group of lady bikers having a ride out ,very short ride one too , a tea shop and shoe shop were visited :lol

Come on ladies ! i knew there'd be sarcasm lol !!! I'm sure we can prove that we can go further than a shoe shop.. and leave rear end Russ at the tea shop..can collect him on the way back ha ha !!

I'm Oxfordshire based, so it's a fair way for a day out - but I have been known to venture across more than two counties :lol PM me with some ideas, or we'll see who else turns up on here of the female persuasion

eddie, you're not helping, and it's not like I'd need tea shops or shoe shops to slow me down even more than usual :o

helen, mark is converting an FJ for me, as i cant get the hang of the fazer with my knee, so poor old Benny is unridden in the garage still, although mark has been known to take him out, with my "fast fearsom & female stickers lol

Helen are you going to the Spring event.. we are could maybe work something out there.. if not I'llsee how many reply , there just don't seem to be many people from our neck of the woods !!

Hi Jo, no I'm not going to the spring meet ('cos I'm a grumpy foccer!!) but I'm sure we can organise some kind of summer ride out with a route overlap in the middle :sun
Laura - we really must catch up (I have an ulterior motive too, I'm looking for a pesky bit of plastic for my fairing inner!! :b ) Let me know when the FJ conversion happens

Sorry, I'm no use to you either - not going to the Spring meet as I'm off to France and Spain on the bike that week - and as I'm in Hampshire - Northumberland is a loooooooongggg way from me!
p.s. I am female - my 'moniker' confuses many (and I have to admit - it can be very funny!!!!)

Lol maybe have to make a weekend of it then, instead of a day event.. how lucky are you going to France/Spain.. and if you can go that far Northumberlands a breeze - and well worth a visit !! Doesnt always rain lol !!! Hope we're going to Spring event - have nt heard back from Moffmeister...

you're a bit far for me otherwise I would be up fer it....I am on a girls bike forum (Cuvry Riders) and I go on quite a lot of rideouts with them...in fact doing a trip in September when there are 60 odd girlies on bikes decend on Consett (Allensford)....they won't know what's hit them.... :lol

Ah I'd seen that web site - I'll have to look at them again - Consetts not far from my home.. what sort of things do you get up too ??? is it bike rallies and stuff ?

They really are a good bunch, not sure if you will be able to book the trip but there is nothing stopping you coming along for a visit...reckon it will be a hoot :lol

Now why couldnt that have happened when I was blatting round Allensford carpark on my Fizzy
