Good Evening guys!
Ive been fortunate enough to lay my hands on a cheap pair of carbs and with everything else that was on the bike I reckon they may be Ivanised.............
Is there any clear indicators in the carbs that I could be looking for?
Fingers crossed these are what I hope they are!!!

Raise the throttle plates and check the pilot circuit bypass holes. If one or two have been enlarged, the carbs are 'Ivanised'.
To find out which kit is installed, remove a float bowl and check the main jet. If it says 127.5 it's a Full Monty job. If the main is 122.5, that's a Slip On kit.

Check if the springs have been clipped and also check if the needles are tapered. The standard ones are almost straight.

what do you reckon mike?

Definitely Ivan's Slip On kit.
On a pre-03 late model onwards set of carbs.

What's needed to turn them into full monty carbs? is it just a change of main jet? or is there more that needs doing to them?
I've got some spare rubbers and airbox so that isn't a problem, just wondered if the full monty kit could be done easily?

First, you need to mod the airbox lid and the intake stubs:

With the airbox lid mod, ignore the first photo shown as it's wrong. Post #16 shows the correct version.
You will also need a performance air filter (Pipercross are good) and Ivan's MB jet kit. It has different needles and main jets. This isn't just a jet swap job. :)
