Title: how many different types of engine have you owned?

i was making a list of cars/bikes i've owned and different engine configurations they were and apart from some highly exotic/unusual configs V5/W12/V10 i think i've ticked most of the boxes.
single
twin....parallel, V, boxer
triple....il, V3
4......il, V, boxer, square
forgot my merc 5 ...........il
6......il, V,box........llox
8.....V......
12....V
rotary.......2 & 3 rotor

c'mon and tell me what i've missed

split twin? or is it a split single, or is it both, I think puch made a split single 2 stroke?

Think I've only ever owned singles, parallel twins and in-line fours :o.

Flat twin (Fiat 126 Bis)
V-twin (Virago 125)
Inline four (loads of classic British cars)
Transverse four (Fazer, loads of modern cars)
Slant four (Dolomite Sprint & 1850HL, VW T3 diesel)
Flat four (VW Beetles)
Transverse five (VW T4)
Inline six (Jag XJ6)
V-six (VR6 engined mk2 Golf)


Only a triple (MT09) and a V8 (Ford Econoline) on my bucket list now.  ;)

Several inline 4's, a V6 and a rotary (2-rotor)

All 4 strokes, never owned or wanted to own a two stroke (Rode a lot of them)

4 Singles
1 Parallel twin
1 V4 (Capri)
19 inline fours :thumbup
