Title: New Spark Plugs
Post by: Timbollew on 18 October 2015, 10:17:02 pm
So gonna swap out my plugs in the hope this will help my issues. What do you guys go for? Any tips on cleaning out before undoing the plugs? Mine are full of grit and crap and obviously I don't wanna get that in the bore.

I'm a fan of Iridium plugs personally, if you have a good look around you'll find them for only a couple of quid more than standard ones.

You need a can of air, or preferably an air line to blow away any shite from around the plug areas.

Or a vacuum cleaner with a thin nozzle works too.
I used a smaller pipe taped to original nozzle to get rid of stuff at the plugs on an older bike I had.

Duck taped a straw to the end of the vacuum lol. Worked a treat
