Title: Liqueur Miniatures
Post by: Hedgetrimmer on 18 October 2015, 03:55:32 pm
Anybody collect these/know anything about values?

Just found my Dad's collection in the loft, and I don't know whether to just chuck 'em out, or if any of them have any value. Not a massive collection.

Interesting-looking bottles:

No idea of value Nick but just because I spotted it I feel I should say that I know of the "Haig" whisky origin because the village of Markinch is one of a number of small working villages that the new town I am from sprung up between. The distillery is massive and hasn't been in use since I can remember...I know my old man put out a couple of fires there in his time as a fireman....perhaps it was still going early 80's im not sure.....but id hazard a guess that I may be of some value as it is from a discontinued line/no longer existing distillery.

I always find if I have something that I need to know if or how much its worth then a search on ebay  for the same thing is usually a good indicator and especially if you click "completed listings" then you will see real world actual sold price and not just a chancer trying it on with a stupid starting price
