Title: fzs acceleration.. how does mine compare to yours?
Post by: Paulfzs on 12 October 2015, 01:57:56 am
did a little video with my cheap camera pointing at the speedo...

angle was bad but can see from 40-120
filmed it off my laptop as for some reason uploading it to youtube destroys the quality even more.

This was filmed on a private road!

and  yes that was 0-60 in 1st gear.

running +1 front and +10 profile on rear tyre.

I'm not sure how mine compares?

But with standard gearing and a fairly empty fuel tank it lifts the front wheel at the top of the rev range in 1st and second, without using the clutch. That's good enough for me.

I'm about 16stone, my bike is pretty standard with just a k&n air filter and scorpion exhaust..

That acceleration even makes me smile seeing it on youtube. :-)
