Title: Mirrors with turn indicators?
Post by: mark g on 10 October 2015, 09:15:18 am
Anybody ever fitted mirrors with the turn indicators in the back of the mirror? I think certain GSXR's have them fitted

Fitted some to my first fazer,  I think they where from m&p, universall , easy to fit and wire, you will need a bracket for the clutch side , or if you can find one, a fz1n clutch perch. Not sure if you can get the fairing mounted ones.

Tried these universal ones on my FZ1S, looked terrible.

Do these adjust upwards as well or just horizontal as they are in the picture?

Not really a good vision of the rear I would think? Maybe ok for sports bikes but for fazers I would imagine they'd be best more upright, where did you get them, how much were they?

Rear view was not very good, as you say probably better for a sportsbike.
I got them secondhand off ebay for £20,,one of those impulse buys where you think that looks good I'll buy them :\, resold them on ebay for £15 so not too bad.
Don't know what make they were, no markings on them at all.

Okidoki, was just a thought I had, I think I might just go with stick on indicators on the back of my mirrors, my rear view is pretty good tbh although I know others have issues, I'm fairly pleased :) I was just wanting more visible indication to other road users of my intentions :b

What about sticking an indicator on each glove, wired up so as you give the arm signal it automatically starts flashing :)

I'm wondering if I would get noticed wearing one of these?

Actually not a bad idea :b But think you'd need to wire it into your existing switch or you'd be getting pretty confused which switch to use :b
